This should be applicable in any workplace be it in an institution, startup or at home. meh. Feel free to add more. Let’s create the perfect place introverts and highly competitive individuals like us would want to be in.

1. Get rid of the ass-kisser. There will always be that one person who annoys everyone for kissing ass and being good at it. Usually, these people get a lot of perks, without even trying hard and management ain’t even aware of it. As much as I hate to say this, he’s disturbing everyone and unless he’s really worthy, just kill him.

2. Give credit where credit is due. When someone strives hard to achieve something for the team, a single praise would be better than nothing.

3. Give credit where credit is due no matter if the output was sh%t. Everyone makes mistake. End of story. On his journey to creating the mess might have been sleepless nights and a whole lot of stress. Let him know that it was real sh%t but you appreciate the effort, and that there’s still a lot of room for refactoring.

4. Work as a team. And work hard for the team. (Don’t forget play time, too). This, we must not forget. ‘If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together’ or something. Read it somewhere. When one stumbles, everyone or someone should help. Sometimes, we just work frantically forward, without even looking back and seeing someone already being dragged face down to the ground.

5. Get rid of stress.

6. Encourage competition and sportsmanship. Get rid of routine!

7. Get rid of the ego, and admit you’ve messed up. If the place follows number 3, you need to know that you can still make it. You’ll just have to be honest that you need help, and you might not make it to the deadline. Number 4 should set in and everyone should huddle up.

My name is Roselle and I’m still working on my success story. You heard that right. I’m young, I work at home on my PJs and I’m still going to make many more mistakes in life. Just like you, just like we all do. But the other thing you should know about me is that I love helping people and this blog is one of the many outlets I have in connecting with you. I talk a lot about finance, business, and personal development. Visit my About page, if you want to know more about my story!
