It is not uncommon for people to ask why they exist. In fact, I do, most of the times. And it’s usually accompanied by, “What should I be doing within my lifetime or existence?”.

Today, I realized, as I looked upon my grandmother who was bidding goodbye on her way to market, that I never would have existed if it weren’t for her hard-work and dedication to bring up her family. That my dad and mom wouldn’t have met had my mother not strived hard to find a scholarship. That the generations before them had contributed and paved the way to where I am today. If we should ask why exist, then it is only rightful to look back. To look back at the steps before you. That although we weren’t given a perfect life, our ancestors are the reason why we’re here. And if we should ever ask what to do with this opportunity to live, then it’s actually obvious that we continue the cycle. That we strive for excellence such that our future generations shall prosper and live. But I guess most people forget, and live selfishly – as if they could take all the riches they could ever take. But no. Everything shall be passed on. And it’s our duty to pass on a really good life.

Within me are the remnants and pieces of the souls of my ancestor. And they are living within me. It’s quite eerie but true.

My name is Roselle and I’m still working on my success story. You heard that right. I’m young, I work at home on my PJs and I’m still going to make many more mistakes in life. Just like you, just like we all do. But the other thing you should know about me is that I love helping people and this blog is one of the many outlets I have in connecting with you. I talk a lot about finance, business, and personal development. Visit my About page, if you want to know more about my story!
