Do you have a dream? All people will definitely say, yes! But do you have an exact outline or picture of your dream? It’s not enough to say you want a home – what kind of home do you want to be built a few years from now? What kind of car do you wish to own? What kind of life do you want to live when you retire? In this post, we are going to build a vision board that would be a direct reflection of our dreams. If you really really want your dream to come true, creating a simple board will be a great help. I mean it won’t really cost you anything, though it will keep you motivated and focused on the plan. Because there will really be days when you feel like nothing is going according to plan, and you will feel like a total loser, and a vision board might just be the right remedy to get you through those days.
Why do we need a vision board?
Having a concrete picture of what you want to achieve enables the universe to help you. Before our present home was built, I already had a sketch of what my room would look like. I kept it years even before I knew that we will finally be having or constructing our own home. I was probably 10 years old when I started sketching it. I’ve always shared the room with my grand mother or brother though we were sleeping in different beds. But I felt that having my own room would give me more privacy, and I’ll be able to design just as I planned. So years after our home was finally built – I was probably 12; I stumbled upon my old sketch and lo and behold, I finally had the same room with all the glow in the dark stars on my walls and ceilings.
I was stunned, for I never learned the law of attraction during those years. You see, I am a firm believer of the secret law of attraction (though it’s not much of a secret now). So, having a concrete vision enables you really know and define what you want. A vision board, with all the photos is a great example.
Let’s get started!
