Life goals in exact order:
- To be healthy
- To be wealthy
- To be happy
Recently i figured out that your life goals are supposed to be your guiding principles in life. When faced with an important decision, i had 3 points to consider. First, will it affect my health negatively, or will it take up much of my time to the point that i have to give up on gym or workout or good food. The decision is definitely for the second priniciple – to be wealthy. So the second principle is out of the picture. But then, will it make me happy? For instance, do i like the people i will be working with, or is it something that i will do happily for the next 10 years. I doubt not. Will it allow me to spend more time with family and loved ones, or on travels – which are primarily my happiness? Definitely not.
If i only had one principle – which is to be wealthy, then i would have immediately said yes. But then i had two other, the most and least important in my life. The order of importance only signifies the weight each of these principle has. If the first rule is violated together with another one, then the decision is already easy – no.
